This game won't start...
This game won't launch, it crashes before the start screen with a text message telling me to report the issue to GoG. I'd like to report it, but I can't attach it via the form. I asked the refund for now, sadly.

It's not SoR2, but its ok
The title says it all. SoR2 is a masterpiece for beat em ups. And this game is trying to be a successor. They were never likely to top or match it. But it's not a bad game overall. I think 4 is a little high for it, 3 a little low. 3.5ish. The atmosphere is off, the music isn't as good, and the character design for some of the new stuff is a little... strange. If you're going to stick with the 80s look for enemies and the OG cast don't go modern for some bosses and other characters. The armless denim and dominatrix 80s enemies clash with the side shaved female cop and some techno DJ. And the white haired young anime villains really don't feel right. The game combat wise is solid. It has some of the issues that came with the old SoR games and some of the good, but you'd expect that for a game trying to continue that tradition. No big issues that Ive seen so far. That's about it. It doesn't live up, but it does scratch an itch.

Amazing new entry
As many of you have, I enjoyed Streets of Rage 1 and 2 when I was a kid on the Mega Drive. I Never got to play the 3rd one. That being said, Streets of Rage 4 feels, mechanically and gameplay wise, like the first 2 games: perfect. In this new entry, there are a few more moves, but feels like classic Streets of Rage. Which is a very good thing. The new graphics are outstanding and fluent 2D, in high definition. You can find many details in the game, and many references to the first 3 games in the series. The music is great as well. Maybe not in the same level as in the first two games, but very good too. Just to point out that you can choose the Retro Soundtrack, to play the game with the soundtracks of the first games. That's an enormous and very welcome addition, considering how good these soundtracks are. There are 4 main characters and you unlock more by playing. And you'll be able to choose the characters in their old appereances from the previous 3 games: pixelated. Their habilities change too. If you enjoyed the first games, you're going to love this one. In my opinion is an excellent game. One of my favorites in GOG right now.
