There's no way for me to get the game to work, not even with unofficial patches. It's not working on my end. Hopefully if there exist a better way to run this game, i ain't seeing it.

This game has been crashing at the beginning.

I spent the better part of the day trying to get this game to work on an off-the-shelf MSI Katana 15 B13V. I even went into the Event Viewer to see exactly what was causing the crash. It is msvcr71.dll, and it it either corrupted or there is some kind of permissions issue. I've tried everything I can think of step-by-step and one by one. My game crashes every single time in the exact same way: I go to create a new character, and as soon as I hit enter after typing my name (4 letters, no characters) the game crashes back to GOG Galaxy. No error messages, just what I found in the event viewer. Good luck, I hope we can fix this gem of a game. I only paid $0.75 so it's not about the $$$.

Satan himself must have taken part to this game's development because the respect system is straight out of hell. I cannot even describe it in a way so that one would be able to truly understand the magnitude of evil forced upon the player. So I will keep it simple, if you get this game with the intent to finish it. Don't.
