Currently playing this game with all graphic settings on max at 1440x1080P, I have had no issues wit frame drops yet. Playing this game with a Thrustmaster T.FLight One HOTAS, took a little while to get use to. Though it does make for a better gaming exerience so far. Most of the controls I mainly need are on the joystick, the clutch for automatic engines is on the throttle & the NOS button is on a weird place. This game is from the early 2000's, back when games weren't holding your hand & you will eventually have to learn how to drift. I haven't really tried out Manual drive as often yet, it's not too great with my current HOTAS. But if you have a driving wheel & keep low expectations when playing a game as old as this. You will have a fantastic time, this game will bring out some rage in you that you didn't know you had. Even if you may be a passive aggressive person & if I am right. Then go ahead & give me a helpful like. Quite a bit of a learning curve once you get yourself immersed in to the classic gameplay. Though the points system could do with some touch ups, many times I pull off long drifts & have near misses with multiple cars. Police chases are 100% one sided, there is no possible way to get away from them early game, so you best behave & be a good citizen when authorities are present. Civilian Cars will be the bane of your existance if you are a perfectionist. They'll be in the worst places possible, it'll be a crash-fest & I would love to see that on multiplayer. I do appreicate this being added on to GOG, this is a game I would like to see with some sort of remaster at least. I loved being able to pay this in the local arcade back when they had weekly tournaments in the shop, back when we had to schedule a time to play games with each other in the community. I hope we get access to multiplayer for this game, maybe I'd eventually comete with someone I use to meet up with at local tournaments for games like this back when I was in middle school.

First of all SNowslinger the girls get way, Way, WAY hotter as You unlock more, & all but one of them has 2 more videos to unlock wearing less clothing then the previous... You're just mad because You couldn't finish the points challenge to unlock the one girl that HAS to be unlocked before the 4 hottest girls. Tila "Tequila" Nguyen (Back when She was HOT, & skinny) is one of those girls... You gotta remember this was made BEFORE Need for speed underground (Yes it was, & don't argue!) at a time when games like BMXXX were coming out on the TV game systems (consoles), with full nudity in videos of strippers, & the ability to make Your' character topless with nothing else on except panties, You don't have to aprove, nor like it for it to be fun, funny, interesting, or atractive. I agree though the videos are in too low of resolution, but they made this for Playstation-2 which used a DVD format at the time, & couldn't fit much on'a disc. The music during the girlfriend videos is AWFUL! Likewise the game music is insufferable to barely passable, I suggest turning it off. As for gameplay it's EXACTLY like EA copied after seeing it at E3 for Underground-1 (which ran way worse on consoles then this did/does) The very day We bought NFS U2 We trade one in because it ran terrible, especially in splitscreen. Everything about this game is better on P.C., even the lighting, it runs, controls, and sounds as smooth as hot butter, & seriously if You cannot enjoy this the very first real tuner street racing game, then You're broken... I'd give it 9 stars if I could!
