Who is hiding behind Mr. X? Still Life 2 reveals the long-awaited ending of Still Life and spells a new investigation for Agent Victoria McPherson.
In Fall 2008, Victoria is sent to Maine where Ellen Dunnigan's body has just been found. The modus operandi and the video sent to the police and press leave no doubt as to the killer's identity: the East Coast Torturer has struck again! No clues are picked up during the autopsy, as the serial killer painstakingly washed the body. Once again, the killer has not committed any errors.
Still Life 2 remains true to the spirit of its first installment and continues to allow you to play and manage two characters bound by the same fate. This time, the aim is to control two heroines, see the game from two different viewpoints, and essentially experience two different types gameplay. Depending on whether you are playing as Paloma Hernandez--the victim--or Victoria McPherson--the investigator--you alternate between survival and investigation.
Experience the story from both the victim's and the detective's perspective, each with its own gameplay style: investigation and survival.
Gripping story with many plot twists and a thrilling atmosphere that will keep you hooked for hours.
Well-designed investigations with impressive attention to detail will test your skill as a homicide detective.

I have played this game a few years ago. I must admit that I don't remember the riddles that were to be solved, but I remember the atmosphere and plot twists. I love good games with great riddles, but the atmosphere here was just awsome!
The mind boggles to the way in which the writers decided to conclude the story carried over from Still Life (1). Given the depth and build up of the first game. Are these people stupid or something?
Main character Vic is simply fun to listen to. She's not as quick witted and mouthy as in Still life 1, but she does have her moments.
I found the game and plot both interesting and convincing. I didn't like the alternate character Paloma. I could hardly stand that terrible voice. Too whiny and unfitting for that character.
I liked the backgrounds in Still Life 1 better, but this plot is situated in an old house in the middle of nowhere..
Wish they would make Still Life 3 and continue with Vic.
I have both games and have played them over and over.
Strong female character makes this a game for female gamers.
I found that Still Life 2 was challenging, as I like my games to be, but not in physical sense, in that dexterity is not important but mental agility is. The puzzles are not particularly difficult, but occasionally you have to think and solve faster than the clock or you're dead. The balance is right and poor Vic has to deal with some pretty twisted stuff. My only deficit is that the game is too short. With six sections to download, each around 2GB, my internet link needed nine hours to successfully download the game. I completed it in around seven hours. Not that matters with such a good selection of functioning games available form GOG, thanks guys. It is easy to find something else to play and not have to wait for game fixes so that the off the shelf game works, let alone being dependant on Steam!
