Description
SteamWorld Dig is a platform mining adventure with strong Metroidvanian influences. Take the role of Rusty, a lone mining steambot, as he arrives at an old mining town in great need. Dig your way through the old earth, gaining riches while uncovering the ancient threat that lurks below.

Excellent, but short
An enjoyable puzzle platformer. I finished it in 6 hours with almost everything done. It has a great aesthetic visual style, sound and controls to match (feels right). Well worth the 10 bucks you'll spend for the price.

Loved it! Extremely addictive!
This amazing and very polished little game hooked me up and didn't let go until I finished it (8 hour gameplay, having collected almost everyting). Really nice art which reminded me of the animated movie Rango, and just the perfect metroidvania feel.

Lots of fun
A really fun game, I enjoyed it a lot. It's quite short and I finished it in two days, but I can't complain, because I needed 6 hours and it wasn't expensive. If you want something easy and short with neat graphics to just have a good time digging, then this is for you. The Linux port worked very well and although it didn't have proper gamepad support (I don't understand this), it worked flawlessly with my Saitek P2600 via QJoyPad. One star removed because it tries to force you into using an Xbox controller which has to be solved with external programs, it would have gotten 5 from me otherwise. I don't want to be forced to buy some peripherals from M$ and like my old Saitek pads.

A Little Gem from the Dirt
This game is... complete. Well polished, clean cut, and just the right length, the concept and mechanics stay fresh for the whole experience, although they probably wouldn't have carried a longer game through. Good stuff!
