Starlord

The premise is pretty much Dune if Arrakis and the Spice didn't exist. Where royal houses compete for power over the galaxy, resources are harvested, taxes raised and great space battles are fought with the regent often in the thick of the action as a fighter pilot, like the warrior kings of old! Sounds pretty cool only that the space combat was pretty bad. Graphics were interesting but I remember it being unresponsive and all over the place and that is what let this game down. I still think it makes for an excellent premise for a modern game. If they can expand on the economics and politics, and have a good space combat game engine we could be seeing one of the best games ever made if this kind of setting were to be revisted.
