love it on xbox but
i know this is unrelated to the game's content but i don't understand why it runs like utter crap under wine or crossover translation layer on apple silicon (don't come at me for using a mac pretty please) and i really love the writing of this game and i played it on xbox but i wanted to have it on my computer. i found out there's an official mac release on the steam version but the gog version only has the windows build. so sad but i won't give it less stars for that.

Excellent Game from my youth!
Was a great game on my Original Xbox, one of my favorites. Plays just as well here. Such a trip! Just the way I remembered it.

It's KOTOR and it's better than Steam
It's the KOTOR you know and love, and if you don't know it. It's the perfect balance of Star Wars and RPG. Strong D&D influence, good combat system. It's dated but it still is better than anything since KOTOR 2. The real plus is that the GOG version works out of the box. It seems to support some higher resolutions too. It doesn't crash all the time like the Steam release. This is a must buy.

Greatest game of all time.
Choices have consequences. Impossible to collect all content in a single playthrough. Fun plot twists and turns. Fun combat system.
