STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga

Finally this gem is somewhere other than ebay! I have the disc and it still works just fine but I just HAD to have it from GOG. the game is amazing and if you know what you're doing you can make some amazing scenario's like my old "Rebel Escape" scenario's where 4 players were Rebels who could OP themselves with upgrades vs one player's entire Galactic Empire.

I have spent days, and nights, playing this game inside out when i was a youngling. Now memories may be relived once more! The game works fine, though i still hope to see it to be made Full-HD ready some day. Nevertheless, i cannot complain about anything else, considering the fact that it's just a bargain and that it works well enough to make you re-enjoy the glorious days of past. :) DEW IT! BUY IT!

I'm not that old, but I played this game for quite some time and I remember humming the Galactic Empire theme while I crushed the Naboo and "Rogue" Troopers. Now it's here, in GoG, and there's no way for me to pay for this. God is cruel.

Running 14.04 and WINE 1.7, this games runs flawlessly. Ish :-) I would recommend using WINE with a virtual desktop - otherwise the low resolution can "stick" if you exit the game. Also works with the Widescreen patch. You can get multiplayer working with winetricks directplay. I was just playing this yesterday and then saw it here on GOG and had to purchase it again! This is a great game with few flaws. It is one of the games I would love to see an "HD" version of someday, at least get it into the modern age with screen resolutions.
