S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Thank you, GoG.com, for opportunity to activate this game through the CD-key. About the series - native, atmospheric, dangerous. I still playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R and other mods from 2007, from it's start. And now it's on the best oldfag service - GoG.

As I say in the title, I love this game. As the other STALKER games you should already know what this game looks like, from the gameplay, to the general feeling about the Zone. I loved it very much, even if I have played it many years after its release date. The game is huge, there are tons of side quests and the main quest is long and engaging as well. And the world is definitely unique. Finishing the game is rewarding and satisfying, you can definitely enjoy it very much. Of course there are sometimes minor 'problems' like minor bugs and - at least for the italian version - bad voice acting (but I'm pretty sure this game should be played and understood, of course, in russian). Overall this game is great and you won't probably regret playing it. Loved very much, as well as I did for Shadow of Chernobyl...Right now I stil haven't played Clear Sky but I will do this as well! What I'm pretty sure about is that CoP is an "improved", polished, richer version of the first to games (even if, as I have already said, I still don't play Clear Sky). Shadow of Chernobyl - the first of the three games - was already a great game even if it had some problems (some bugs, of course many of them disappeared thanks to many patches and gave a "rough" feeling sometimes), I can definitely tell that Call of Pripyat is great as well. My feeling is that the three games should be considered like one big game, with differend stories in different places of the Zone. This gives you a greater feeling about being a STALKER and being a part of this huge, fascinating world. Play it!

Best of the three and with add-ons a very good game if you like this type

This has plenty of atmosphere and the gun fights are excellent; the sound of bullets pinging off metal or crunching into wood while finding the right moment to lean around corners and return fire. Has been kept well alive and built upon by the modding community with the likes of the Anomaly mod, which is huge in scope and adds so much content. Worth buying to get the mods that enhance it one hundred fold.

First STALKER was great. This is (right now, I didn't finished it yet) better. Just buy it on some sale for like 5 bucks and enjoy. P.S. There is so called "complete" mod (Call of Pripyat Complete). It enhances original textures and such. I'm using it - it's fine. You can use it.... or not. I mean it's 2021 - you probably want some nice graphics..
