Chornobyl Exclusion Zone has changed dramatically after the second massive explosion in the year 2006. LEGENDARY MUTANTS WITH DIFFERENT BEHAVIOUR MODELS
Prepare to encounter horrifying mutated creatures that will try to slaughter you following different behaviour model. Each mutant may appear in different subtypes which makes their behaviour less predictible. Truly extreme danger represent regions with lairs with numerous mutants hunting in large groups.

After an almost 120gb update the other day, and then another almost 8gb update right after, the game is currently unplayable for me.
Since the updates were so large, I decided it would be best to start a new fresh game. Immediately in the first cinematic, it was stuttering using the graphics settings that were working before. When I finally got to a place where I could access the menu, I lowered all of the graphics settings to "low" or "off". Even then, I'm getting stuttering and lag. The game used to work fine before the mid-February updates.
I'm using a Nvidia 3060 Ti, so it's not the latest and best, but it should be more than capable of handling this game set at the lowest settings.
Despite the poor optimization, I don't regret buying the game. I just hope they finally fix it to where I can play it again.

This game was a bit different than I expected and it took me a while to get hooked (I havent played the first game before). But following the hype around it, I wanted to give it a try (and also support the Ukrainian developers). When I read their open letter, I was so moved and decided to buy it. Never regretted it. This game surely is a declaration of love for Ukraine and you can see the wonderful references in so many amazing details. From the wonderful Ukrainian music on the radio to the many details of Ukrainian tradition and village life, this game will touch anyone connected to this country. Dont let russian campaigns tell you how bad this game is, its already legendary and yes, after some bugfixes (and the first update already rolled out) this will become a classic soon!
The atmosphere you feel when you play is still as good as it was in the first parts of the series.
However, I cant say this money worth waiting for so long since 2012... In addition, the creators played politics and removed original language that, in my opinion, made it worth...
