From Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions, explore a vintage world inhabited by living Russian stacking dolls as you jump into more than 100 unique dolls and use their special abilities to solve a wide variety of puzzles & challenges. Play as Charlie Blackmore, the world’s tiniest Russian stacking doll, and embark on an adventure to rescue Charlie’s family from the nefarious industrialist known only as the “Baron.” This imaginative 3rd person puzzle adventure game will take you on a journey from a bustling Royal Train Station to a high-flying Zeppelin as you collect unique dolls and matched stacking sets to display in Charlie’s secret hideout, where you chronicle your adventures.

Continue the Stacking adventure with The Lost Hobo King DLC pack, included free in the PC version! In the Lost Hobo King, the first expansion for Stacking, you’ll once again assume the role of Charlie Blackmore, the world’s smallest Russian stacking doll. Charlie travels with his hobo friend Levi to the mysterious kingdom of Camelfoot, the mythical resting place of lost hobo king and his crown. Charlie must help Levi’s uncle, Rufus Ryken, reclaim his rightful throne by solving three tests of valor and reawakening the hobo blacksmiths of old. Only then can the crown be reforged, enabling Rufus to become king and unite the fractured hobo people under one sardine. The Lost Hobo King features a complete adventure with several new challenges, each with multiple solutions, an all new assortment of unique dolls with engaging abilities, and a new round of hi-jinks to discover and make trouble with. Only the worthy can reclaim the crown of Camelfoot!

enjoyable but broken steering

Enjoyable but unfortunately the steering was broken for me. Cannot turn around the character properly with either mouse or trackball. Get stuck halfway around and have to turn a full revolution the other way. Played it anyway because it was so enjoyable, but finally got stuck in an action sequence and gave up. This was on Linux.

Good game

I was little bit bored and the game is not so far funny. Graphic is very good. But I think this game is for children (10-15y). I was not satisfied. Maybe because I had high expectations.

Boring but interesting

I found the game to be really boring. The animations were terrible and I wasn't a fan of the style they used. This game's something along the line of what would be marketed for kids, since the puzzles are easy and the comedic value is sub-par. Overall, I give it a 6/10. Get it only when on sale

Amazing game, very cool humor

I played this to death on the PS3 - it's a great game. Great humor in the story, novel mechanics, very cool abilities: A Double Fine great! I highly recommend getting it, you will laugh.

Aggressively Mediocre

The Good: Even though it appears as though there may be only two original tracks, I do <3 the classical music soundtrack. Music is one of DF's strengths. The unique, vaudevillian presentation works. I gave this game a star for its music, vaudeville setting, and the farting and the two empty halves of coconuts matryoshkas. This is my fourth DF game: Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, Brutal Legend; none were bad, none were great. I guess I admire these games and the style that went into them more than I actually enjoyed playing them. This game is not puzzling greatness - too easy, and simplistic. Nobody sets out to create mediocrity, and nobody can please everybody; I guess I was born without an inner child - these cutesy games don't do it for me. And, with that, DF, I must bid you adieu.
