This is Art. This is a masterpiece.

Ever read a book and as soon as you finished, it you read it again and enjoyed it even more the 2nd time? Ever watch a movie that grips you every time you watch it? I played SOMA and as soon as I finished it, I played it again. The 2nd time was even better than the first because I was able to put more pieces together and understand the world better. SOMA is not so much a game as it is an experience. Your participation and investment of effort in the SOMA world adds weight to your decisions and the eventual outcome. The decisions you make in this game will leave you thinking about them for a very long time.

Didn't pay but lost time

Disclaimer, I received a free copy of this game from one of the many giveaways GOG has done. Also, I don't typically play horror games. I am a picky gamer so I get bored easily. This game struck me as being very generic looking in its presentation. Dark, circuits and twisted metal, lots of cluttered items to look at but have no real meaning to the gameplay. Having read and watched a lot of Science Fiction, I didn't find the first few hours of the story interesting enough to make me want to continue. After clocking in a few hours, I decided that I had wasted my time with a boring walking simulator that is or was trying to tell a compelling Science Fiction story. Perhaps fans of Horror games would like this but I wouldn't recommend SOMA to anyone else. Save your time and money by playing something else. My subjective review for this game is as follows: 1 star for good controls 1 star for good sound design

Brilliant title, gog missing features

Soma is amazing title, with deep and heavy atmosphere of isolation. Gameplay side it's quite a walking simulator, but story, graphics and project of the world is absolutly amazing and worth playing. But... If you like achievements and cloud saving buy game in another store, becouse Frictional Games doesn't give a damn about Gog users - it's giving us for the same price inferior in some way product.

I'm not impressed

I'm not impressed by this game at all. I've read about it before buying, the people where saying that story is amazing, that i will feel speechless afther i played it etc. Honestly, i don't feel speechless at all. I think this game is so overrated and gameplay is boring. Story didn't have any impact on me. I wanted to see something really memorable and unic and i'm just dissapointed that i didn't saw any of that. Overall, i can't recommend this game. I just can't.
