a terrific game
this is probably the third or fourth time i've played this game (first time on pc) and it's still ridiculously fun. sleeping dogs takes all of the elements that i love from gta and mashes it together with martial arts and i cannot get enough. seriously, they need to make a sleeping dogs 2!

Criminally Underrated Cantonese GTA
Still has the same bugs from a decade ago but it's just as fun. You're an undercover cop trying to bust a gang organization. Best played on controller. Good enough story to have your girlfriend watch while you play. Includes all the DLCs which is super nice. If you want to make money fast, do the car retrieval missions.

Good Experience So Far....
Really like the setting of Hong Kong. Music is nice, gameplay is good especially the hand to hand combat which is smooth and unique. Driving in the game feels a bit off, could have been better but not like its unplayable. Characters are likeable, interactions are fun. Coming back to the setting, Hong Kong just feels so alive. The game is great for anyone who likes GTA or open world, would recommend as well for beginners. Will update this review as I progress further in the story.
