Although it's slightly rough around the edges, and packs the occasional bug, Sleeping Dogs is nevertheless a gripping and thoroughly entertaining Hong Kong action movie in game form.

Highly enjoyable game
For a game that was released in 2012, it mostly holds up today and I enjoyed it. The story was good, the characters were good and Hong Kong felt lively. The character animations were showing their age but that did not pull me out of it. One of the standouts was the fighting mechanics which are much closer to the Arkham games and did not get dull at any point.
