Description

You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess. 

You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.

She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.

You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...

  • A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
     
  • No, the Princess isn't a cosmic horror. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
     
  • Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
     
  • Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
     
  • Time loops No time loops. Don't be ridiculous. Time is a strictly linear concept and it certainly doesn't "loop," whatever that's supposed to mean.

Slay the Princess is a beautiful narrative of pain, death, love, and transformation. It has so many choices and routes that it's impossible to see them all in one playthrough. While some may come for the terrors of blood, bone, and the unknown, the tender core is what will keep the game in your mind.

Slay the Princess is a horror meta-narrative visual novel about the choices we make, and how they change us and those around us. It’s about the interpersonal relationships that can wound us, make us versions of ourselves we never imagined, yet teach us. It is a damn good story, and one worth experiencing.

I love it.

It's a thought-provoking choose-your-own-adventure with fascinating characters. The music/sounds, voice acting, and artwork is all fantastic too. It has just enough spice now and then, with [spoilers here] and [spoilers there]. (Granted, my spoilers will likely be different from your spoilers.) If you'd like, you can go back after the story and see all the possible paths, but I'm satisfied with what I've got.

The storyline of Slay the Princess is a fascinating philosophical discussion on free will and the nature of life and death underneath the idea that you must slay a princess whom a Narrator insists will destroy the world.

The game that can open your heart.

This game is different the many others, maybe there is not that much action, fun or insane graphick like you can find in othere games, but this game can open you heart, let you feel your emotions, think about your self ,world, about love and thats why I love it so much. I really appreciate the work of the developers for creating this amazing love story.
