Th isgame is worse than it looks
I suppose it may be worth it at a steep discount, but while it looks pretty good, the game has lots of non-obvious flaws. Lets be generous and assume that losing the game because you couldn't find any medicine or couldn't find any weapons in the first few floors is intentional. Crafting is very unbalanced. You end up with 5 copies of a particular weapon (which CANNOT be salvaged for parts). Basic ingredients (wood/metal) should be easier to find because you need a lot of them. Every couple of floors you need to repair the elevator. That requires a random part, which is usually something valuable (e.g., wire). If you don't have the part, you can try to fix the elevator anyway with some risk of losing a random part. But if you DO have the part, that's the cost of repairing the stupid elevator. So the game punishes you having crafted or found a useful item. Best crafted weapons require stats which I don't think are achievable. Or if they are, you'd be about 98% through the game by the time you have the level to get these stats. You get phone messages from a couple of NPCs that say "I am waiting for you at floor XX". That'd be a great little event, but when you get to this floor, you get a message "Sorry, I couldn't wait for you/sorry, I missed you". So, basically, it is a giant waste of time that serves no purpose whatsoever. The default ending is pretty bad. I guess you can lookup a password to get a better ending, but I didn't care to do that.
