A loveletter to skate and videogames

I entered because of skateboarding. I stayed for everything else. Maybe can become weird and convoluted at times, and obviously is not for everyone, but to me, it's unlike anything I've ever seen and played in any other game. This game is a clear evidence of why I like the indie scene of videogames. And you know it's good when you end up looking up the band that worked on the original soundtrack

Incredible artstyle and soundtrack

I played the demo of this game twice before buying it here and the trailer still brought tears to my eyes. The worst thing I can say about this game is that the fights were too easy and short, though the Skaters health felt well "balanced", being somewhat forgiving but leaving little room for error. I would've loved to see more long downhill bombing race segments, and maybe a few skill checkpoint races in the Lyceum (and below). I haven't done new game plus yet but this takes at least top 5 games for me. I wish each time I finished it I would forget about it so I could feel how I did the first time I played for eternity. But at least I have a chance to hone my skill.
