The best of the series
SimCity 4 is the height of development for the series. No other SimCity game comes close to the complexity of interweaving regional and local management. That said, I never played any of the mods. I hope GOG does a mod guide, I'd love to check them out!

The best SimCity there is
I've been playing SimCity 4 since it came out over ten years ago, and I loved every second of it. Don't let SimCity 2013 fool you where the size of the maps is the size of a farm, and overall a complete joke, this has real maps, and it's the real deal

Best SimCity!
Great to play and have fun with, not too much micromanagement but just enough to make it playable and fun. A great and large modding community even if the game is 10+ years old. Also it works as a terrain creator for The Sims 2 if you have that game as well!

Nostalgia to the Max
This piece of software is one of the finest out there. with Mods you can build mega cities, and gigantic seaports and airports. Been playing this since 2005 and I am loving it.

Bug when saving
I'm using Windows 11, my PC has 8 GB of RAM. While I play the game I'm experiencing some issues when I'm saving the city. Sometimes it crashes when I tried to save the game, so I have lost some progress. Also, each save requires significantly more time when the city starts to get a bit bigger. For reference, I have a city of 25,000 people, and it can take up to 20 seconds to complete a save. My suggestion would be to do frequent saves to avoid losing too much progress at once. Aside from this aspect, my game experience was quite smooth.
