Classic memories
I still suck at this game but it's great! Thank you GOG.

Just as I remember it
Plays exactly as I remember it. Scales well on modern screens. No crashes

My childhood!
Somehow felt like it had more character than its sequels. Now, GOG just needs SimCopter and Streets of Sim City!

Classic Sim City
This was one of the first 'real' games I played, and even today it still is a classic. Some elements of this game I still miss in the later games, such as water power and progress through time, unlocking new (and even futuristic) stuff. Certainly not an easy game and of course with dated graphics, but still one of the best games I played.

An addictive game
Since there are so many reviews, here a rumour: It is said that you can import cities from the old SimCity by renaming the save file from .cty to .sc2 That said, who has the old SimCity? Well.. it's source code has been released. It's available under the name "Micropolis" on SourceForge!
