Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri™ Planetary Pack

It's the latter part of 2023 and I'm still playing this very old game. It still has its charm. It's almost unplayable on modern machines because of how dated it is, but if you install the UI mod, then you can play it with your screen's native resolution and have a smooth scrolling and zooming experience. It's the only CIV game I know that allows you to design your own unit. Wreak havoc with your custom-designed overgeared tank that para drops in front of your enemy's doorsteps and pumps them with harmful gas! It's a unique classic, and a must-have for all Sid Meier's fans.

This is still the best Civilization game for me. And the addition of the expansion pack just makes it a must-buy for any strategy fan. The combination of depth, strategy and atmosphere keeps drawing me back to the game even today, and I can never get enough of the intrigue and setting of the game.

This game was awesome to begin with, AND they finally added the Alien Crossfire expansion! So amped on this!
