A fun take on deckbuilders
I was't expecting to get so much out of this game, it's a fun deckbuilder that has some pretty interesting combat combos. The music and the humor are on spot. I recommend it if you like Slay the Spire.

Glad I purchased. No regrets.
This game is absolutely brilliant! I've been burned before when people compare a game to Into the Breach or whatever, because it usually isn't. This is a game that finally lives up to the hype for me. It is like ItB breach in that the positioning of your unit (lil' dude) and thinking ahead to the next couple moves is critical to survival. You also know what your opponents are going to do, so there's no RNG nonsense. It truly does make me feel that when I lose, it was my fault. This game does also align rather closely with Slay the Spire. You've got your 2D environment and several opponents to dispatch with a handful of cards. Throughout the game you'll get buffs and upgrades from stores, but you can't collect everything. You'll have to decide between your health vs upgrades vs damage, and so on. The only con I have so far is that, as a rogue-lite, you'll be seeing the beginning of the game (zones, opponents, etc) over and over. That gets a bit tedious and I don't feel like there is a strong enough compelling reason to immediately play again. There needs to be more variation on subsequent replays. I suspect since this is still in Early Access, those types of issues will be resolved as the game matures. However, having said that, this is a great piece of work. There's no feeling more satisfying than watching your plan come together and just wipe the board in one turn. Go on, go ahead and get it. It's good!
