Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis - Remastered

I wanted to like it, but Sherlock doesn't do much deducing in this. I got half way through before deciding it wasn't worth it to finish the game. Most of the game is just long strings of riddles given to you by lupin, just isn't as satisfing as Sherlock finding the clues that the criminals didn't mean to leave behind. Very dissapointing. The part I did like about the game is that the different areas act as mini virutal tours of historical artifacts and paintings and what not.

It's a Sherlock Holmes game from Frogwares in the vain of all Sherlock Holmes games from Frogwares. Walk around, gather clues, solve obscure puzzles. In order to run it in Windows 11, you must first edit game.ini, the guide for which can be found on the internet, oh, and on newer nVidia GPUs it exhibits graphical glitches, mainly with lighting, and cannot run at high detail.

The game is well put together, and looks and controls well. However, the puzzles within it are very obtuse which makes the game very frustrating to play.

Puzzles are too hard and tiring. Font choice for puzzles make them illegible and requires a lot of patience.

This game is superb. I love just about everything Frogwares comes out with. You can't go wrong with this purchase if your an adventure fan.
