Win all, dont go to Europe next season?

I've played 1st season for my team Benfica from Portugal... i've managed to win the Portuguese League and Cup and also the Cup Winners Cup, but next season my team doesn't go to any European competition. On 2nd season, i've managed to win both Portuguese League and Cup, and next season i went to European competition. I remember the original game, when i won all, next season i went to European competitions, but now i cannot? How come? Regarding injuries, it's as i remember... many many injuries.

Great old game

This is basically the Tecmo Bowl of soccer games. I played the DOS version back in the 90s and loved it (and I'm not even a fan of soccer!). Great game, glad to see it hosted here.

The best. Period

Awesome news! It's definitely one of my favourite videogames of all time. I've enjoyed it a lot in the past in my Amiga 500. And now I would repeat on GOG. Thanks!!
