Yes the presentation is rough; the models are more polygon, and they look more unfinished from lighting and gestures (though I kinda find that charming), and that's ok. Because it doesn't take away from what works with the game, it being a FPS Zombie survival shooter with date-sim mechanic's.
You go out to the world through levels to achieve objectives, picking up new weapons as you move from area's, and also to find items along the way. Maybe you find resources for your base so it can open new area's up, or maybe you find gifts for your girls. And yes there is sex scenes with them (that you have to build up through working on your relationships), and there's some gore fetish content if your into that.
But compared to it's predecessor. Haven't played it myself but it seems a bit more polished than before, 3D models instead of 2D images so the scenes are rather different, interface has improved, some of the zombies have a different look to them, new character, base building mechanic's and all that gives in return like shops. Otherwise not much difference.
So that's what it is, it doesn't try to be anything else, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
You get what you paid for. it"s "We have Left 4 Dead at Home," with a hentai game thrown in on top. Mechanically not difficult: basic and at times janky, but overall a serviceable product. If the girls werent cute I would give this a skip: bu they are, so I dont.
I found the review from octubre21 pretty good. I think he/she mentioned nearly everything important. Especially for newcomers like me.
But I wanted to try this game, since I thouhgt "hey, erotic stuff + action". But to be honest for me it is neither one thing nor the other. So in this point I will review this totally different.
The graphics of the game are in general totally outdated, also the environment and textures are like
games from 1990. I also reduced (afterwards) the graphic settings to lowest since I had some strange issues with frame drops. And even on the highest settings the game just looks "mediocre" at best.
The dialogs and story is as cringe as it can get in these type of games. Sorry, but sometimes I am just wondering why they add a story at all. The characters are well done but the sex stuff is just simple. You can find way better stuff online for free.
This is where it triggers me the most. After all the time and all the other ero games which exist, they still keep it so simple in animation and details ... it is just frustrating. The details/bounciness of breasts in example ... the buckling on some body parts ... really low level stuff.
The mini games are partially really expensive and some of them just make no real sense like this "jump into the water" game. Come on ... what is this nonsense shit?
It is same for other games like Succubus. You expect to get nudity and action but in the end it fails both. I am really disappointed with Succubus.
Let's see if some day something really good will occur.
I don't think this game is a 5/5 ... never man. Best 4/5.
Simple fps gameplay, generic looking assets, and so-so main story. A handful times frames drop.
4 stars mostly for the eroge aspects once you add the R18 patch.
Decent looking models for the heroines, movable camera during adult scenes, and obtainable costumes + accessories.
A few things that I found annoying. The minigames cost money. Also a few items cost too much! Like a tattoo and a sleeping mask for 1,000,000 in-game money! If you want to get a tattoo for each girl, it will be 4 million. The mosaic is not that bothersome, but without it just makes it better.
I put at least 9-10 hours in to complete the main story and max the intimacy level. Additional time if you want to get all the items for all the heroines.
If you want something different from the usual visual novel and RPG, this is a good choice.
The game was made by a small team of People so do not expect anything crazy, they did a good job on visuals and mechanics. Definitaly a step up from the first game, they have a under 18 mode where you can get rid of the sex scences and games if you are not into it.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
