Frustrating immersion breaking controls
Extremely disappointed. The controls are infuriating, turning what should be an atmospheric puzzler into a run and gun shooter. If I wanted that I'd play Doom.

An xperience like no other i ever played
I barely stand modern games, i spend hours and hours in 90's doom and quake 1 games, with modern games i always purchase, install (sometimes i don't even that) and try the game for a couple of minutes... then uninstall it and that's all, i never play it again, but i have it for showing to my grandsons one day... With that background about my experience with 90% of modern games, Scorn was a game i first saw in 2015 and got trapped with its unique atmosphere, sounds, textures, environment, puzzles, etc. i purchased it as soon i saw it in GOG to show the developers they have customers here and to own it for real, after this many many years and delays. I've player it for 4 hours right now, its the best damn game i played in this century, and the best about it its that its different, nowadays games are affraid that the player gets frustrated and quit and uninstall it (as i do with most games at the first cutscene or frustration) but this game its the only one that's so sure about his uniqueness, that it's not affraid of you quitting cause of frustration, why? because the world is so damn interesting and immersive that you will return and try again and again to overcome the puzzles, cause you FEEL that you are alone in a hostile and alien world, an abandoned, long long ago abandoned alien world, that became hostile, not cause of cheap enemies, because you know f*cking nothing about how ANYTHING works or the purpose of things in this world, you don't even know what things are or what their function is... never... and you feel a urge to know, to explore, to discover, to SEE all that are to see in this dead but living world in decay, you will stop to see uninteractable objects, textures, everything that catches your attention, and you will LIVE in this world, feeling completely alone and without any knowledge about anything... It's the perfect walking simulator, puzzles, adventure and shooter mix, in an alien world we never imagined would play in a videogame.

bad just bad
not only was this game to long for no reason the story was also very confusing for no reason the ending didnt explain anything and in my opinion it was very lazy as a result, this game felt like it was made by a whole team of only graphic designers bc the only good thing about it was the graphics, enviroment and style otherwise the story telling and game mechanics were utter shit. and the ending didnt give me any emotions bc i was just frustrated the whole time with game mechanics and it was prolonged for no reason and it was so obvious and lazy how the creature escapes and then kills in the end it was so goddamn obvious it was goin to happen. im dissapointed that i wasted 5 hours of my life on this atleast i didnt waste any money on this and got the game for free from prime gaming. in summary dont buy this game its just a waste of money if you want to see what happens just watch a walk through if you have extra time that you can waste.

Absolute Sim-immersive stealth blast
So far I've had two evening sessions with Scorn summing up to 7 hours of gameplay and I'm having a total blast. Can't understand all the whining around. Not a single moment have I felt lack of progress or frustration other than what I would really feel like being actually there. This is finally a totally immersive experience of being there and acting as I normally would as a human. Don't expect this to be "a game" where you are totally overpowered flawless super hero against hordes to be slain - Hi, new Doom games, I love you as well! But this is totally different experience. You are the prey here, this is finally a true sim-immersive stealth game with a few unavoidable encounters where you definitely don't have the upper hand. If you have never fully experienced original Thief games (not the new BS) you probably think Dishonored is a stealth game so, yeah, firstly, you have no idea what a sim-immersive stealth game is and secondly this is not Dishonored type "stealth" game. This is a friggin' real experience as it would be if you were personally there trying to hold your guts inside and not crap when patiently waiting for the grotesque monster to pass by and crawl in some hole. I have no idea how they achieved this but the AI in this Scorn is like a real thing - not necessarily trying to hunt you down at all costs and risk their own well-being for nothing in their own existence. And everything in Scorn feels so real, believable, standing on its own in a world completely oblivious towards the player. I love how HUD displays only when necessary and you can turn it off all together. I love the design of "inventory", never seen anything brilliant like that. You have to figure everything on your own as if you were really tossed in there. And the audio, oh my god! No words needed. Can't endorse the very few masterpieces like this enough. Thanks to pirate scene I've bought Scorn even though the reviews totally put me off. It even surpassed my own expectations.
