The character is stuck in the barn and can't get out or interact with anything after the hide go seek game is initialized!

Nothing to say about the game itself, it's a masterpiece. But the emulation here is not so nice. You get often kicked out of the game, even gog galaxy crashing sometimes. That should be solved, imo

The first adventure game I've ever completed without reading hints or a walkthrough. The puzzles are generally straightforward and logical enough. There are seveal "apparatus" puzzles that are confusing at first but aren't too bad once you spend a few minutes on them.

I first playes this game about 30 years ago. At the time I was a long time vetran of classic adventure gaming. With our a doubt, this was the most assimilating game I ever played. I couldn't put it down and played it through to the end in one sitting. For many yeafs after I finished it, it would creep into my dreams from time to time as a spectacular horror event, This is one not to miss!

Horror is hard to translate to point and click but I'm in Chapter 4 caught in the protaginist's journey of madness. Or maybe it's of healing. Those questions made me invested in this old game.
