Saints Row®: The Third™ - Remastered gives you control of the Saints at the height of their power, and you live the life to show for it. This is your City. These are your rules.
Remastered with enhanced graphics, Steelport the original city of sin, has never looked so good as it drowns in sex, drugs and guns.
Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobblehead dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute.
Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and fight against a highly-trained military force by your lonesome in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen."
The Full Package, Remastered – With enhanced graphics, improved lighting, reworked environments, and visual effects, Steelport and The Third Street Saints have never looked so good.
City of Sin - Disrupt and dismantle the Syndicate stranglehold on weapons, cybercrime, and criminal rackets. Discover the secrets of Steelport, where there is action on every street corner, for better or, more likely, worse.
Weapons of Crass Destruction – It’s one thing to defeat your enemies. It’s another to humiliate them. Hover jets, human cannonball cars and outrageous melee weapons are all part of the fun.
Crazy Character Customisation – Create the most outlandish characters ever seen, from washed-up celebrities to maskless ninja pirates. Inside every sinner, there is a Saint. Who will you become?
Over The Top Co-op – Fly solo or play online with a homie. Give freefall skydiving a try, landing in your partner’s flaming pickup as you make a desperate run toward a heavily armed Syndicate base. Steelport is always more fun with a friend.
can do half the game missions because they either bug out and none of the required npc's spawn or the timer that should say 5 mins or 10 mins just sits at 0 and no timer ever starts so you cant start the mission, Worst update team in exsitance, been stuck on snatch mission since the day i installed the game, so uninstalled and hidden from library, no point in installing the game if it dont work, its like filling your bed with trash then trying to have sex with the trash, congrats on making a great game suck more dong than a hoe on the corner
This is my first Saints Row game, and I've learnt since playing it that it's considered one of the worst games in the series. People say it's too silly, there's not enough depth, and the story is naff.
And I don't get that at all.
Yes, the story is mental. You get branded VTOL jets, the Saints have their own merchandise shops, you're in magazines, on TV, and you can do things like fight alongside aliens and roided out flamethrower-wielders. It's silly, full of crude humour and endless lewdness. But, for me, that's what seperates this game from GTA, and any other GTA clone. There's crude humor there, but there's certainly nothing as mad as the giant cat car or jellyfish cannon!
I understand why the storyline isn't super impressive, and how the game railroads you into a "Just blow the stuff up" section that feels more like a minigame than some might like. But these are few and far between, and are outnumbered by more in-depth assassination missions, or car thievery. And there's no dull races like a bunch of GTA-alikes cram in!
The one thing that disappoints me about this game is that I really wish more random world elements could be interactive things. I might be spoiled as I also recently started playing Rockstar's Bully, and in that you can do things like use vending machines and water fountains, and toss American Footballs around. It just bothers me a little seeing chairs everywhere and not being able to sit down! Even if you could just do things like drink the drinks in the Saints HQ! That's all I need!
This game was a childhood favorite of mine I played it on the Xbox 360 Didn't have any of the DLCS though but I had a lot of fun playing this game I really loved the open sandbox ness of it and I loved how there were tanks that I could actually drive and that how you could actually store them in your garage which I thought was amazing when I first seen it, The games graphical update is nice sometimes the screen space reflections can look a little odd but apart from that it's just a great game I'd recommend this to anybody who wants to play one of the best Saints Row games ever made.
