love it Epic installer isnt mandator

I had all the saints row games for years I was worried when I heard about the cross platform update. I have found one or two bugs later in the game but there ways round this not give anything away. Also Epic when it asks to install just simply click no and the game install as normal it isnt mandatory only for cross platform play. This game it self if you not had chance to play yet is really funny it like mixing GTA with the Matrix if we had martrix game like saints 4 then we have amazing matrix game okay lot stuff got reused from 3 but you known what who cares it just really funny. Saint row dosent take itself serious neither should you. Also gotta say the saints that save Christmas DLC is one of the really funny moments in gaming same with the first leavel. To me Saints row is like the spoof answer to games like GTA/Mafia ect. Still really enjoy it

This version on GOG once again works better with less bugs than the steam version thank you!

Epic account required for online co-op

To play online with a friend now requires you to be signed into Epic gamestore. Just no. They took a feature away after buying the product and locked it behind a paywall. GOG, you need to sort this out. This is completely against the entire ethos of buying things on your platform.

Exceptional shenanigans.

I don't own this title on GoG, but through Steam. Overall it's one of the most entertaining (mechanically, story and general humour) wise games I've ever played. Good graphics, exceptional game play mechanics, nice characters, writing and such. It's very silly, in fact, it redefines silly. It's pretty mod friendly, as well, which is nice. I strongly recommend this title for the current price, the entertainment it can provide makes it very difficult to beat.

SR3 with Super Powers

By the time Saints Row 3 is over, you are basically a super hero (can unlock invulnerabilities to all damage, if you so choose). The next logical step seems to be to just become a super hero, which DS/Volition went ahead and employed. The game is fun purely as a super hero sandbox collect-a-thon platformer. I was a bit disappointed by the number of gun upgrades, though, as most of the ones I was interested in were unlocked from the start. You can further upgrade/customize them as you get more 'cash' in the game. There also seem to be a few bugs still in the game at this point, such as random hangs that force either a system restart or task manager intervention. Another common bug were special moves that should end boss battles weren't triggering, making it kind of suck when you are fighting an unkillable, not particularly challenging enemy for several minutes before you realize something is wrong. I picked it up for $5 on a sale, though, so while these bugs are annoying, it's still definitely a good game to pick up on the cheap.
