Saints Row 2 brings true freedom to open-world gaming. Players can play as who they want, how they want, and with whomever they want in this sequel to the much acclaimed and tremendously successful Saints Row.
Set years after the original, the player finds himself in a Stilwater both familiar and strange and challenged with bringing the Saints back as the rightful kings of Stilwater and bringing vengeance to those who wronged him.
Limitless Customization - Play as fully customizable characters that are male, female or something in between. Vehicles can be visually customized as well as performance tuned. Cribs and even gangs all have an amazing degree of detailed customization options.
Multiplayer - Co-op full story campaign has seamless integration (for example one player drives while the other shoots). Competitive MP pushes the boundaries of immersion in a living Stillwater environment fully populated with police, innocent bystanders and rival gangs.
Killer Combat and Awesome Vehicles - Planes, helicopters, motorcycles, boats and cars can be piloted and used as weapons. On the ground new combat options include melee, fine aim, and human shield.
Freedom to Explore - More missions, activities, diversions, races, weapons, vehicles, cribs, city districts, and interiors than ever before. Over 40 story missions with additional bonus missions take place in a transformed Stilwater that is over 50% larger than before.

Great game, its prolly works good on your grandpas computer as well thats are for mail and paying bills only, its shows that having mega big textures in the 3d engine just hogs resources that not many wants anyway, great voice acting and the story are great , Its occupy wall street in a computer game.
Can't crouch, which seems to be a common control problem, and no fix found by Googling, except fiddling with device manager which IMHO ain't worth the risk for a free game.
Shame, looked fun.
Game deleted.
Id like to start out by saying that unlike many other reviewers, I didn't encounter any crashes or major technical issues (on WIN10). That said it's not an extremely smooth experience either.
As a game it draws, as expected, heavy comparisons to GTA, in particular to the GTA3/Vice City/San Andreas era. However I found it to be far less charming and far more janky in terms of mechanics. More importantly, I found the frequency of frustrating missions/mission design to be well beyond what I can stomach. That's saying something considering I love classic GTA and those games also had their share of infamous missions. But Saints Row 2 takes it to the next level. It often feels like the game relies more on the player getting lucky rather than on 'getting good', especially in the higher level side activities. By that I mean it seems to have a hard time finding a difficulty balance, as most of the missions are either so easy you don't even have to try or so unfair/unbalanced that you have to pray for the RNG god's favour.
In short: when SR2 is at its best, it can be really fun; on par with the best of them. When it's at its worst though, it can lead to rage inducing frustration. My personal experience was that the latter was unfortunately more frequent than the former. If you loved early 2000s GTA and want to experience something more in that same vein, this might scratch the itch. Or, as was my case, it'll just make you want to go back to the stuff you know and love. I can't complain too much though, as I only got SR2 as a giveaway.
So there is still a game breaking cutscene that can't finish, so the game is unbeatable again, I was really hoping this was a fixed optimized version, but sadly, no, the game still runs too fast and the same game breaking bug still happens.
