UNPLAYABLE
unfortunately unplayable. i wanted it to work but ..... all i got was a miniature purple screen that was not even centred. a problem many players had in the past. can't imagine why creators did not fix that until now. they had plenty of time ... returned for refund.

A good try
As far as (most) fairly recent adventure games go, this is a nice one. It lacks a certain something to make it great, but was enjoyable to play. If you like adventure games in general, you will probably like playing this. I did find the voice acting to be quite a bit less than what it could be. Some of the voices and characters that were obviously meant to be funny, were only annoying to me. I liked the atmosphere.

On of my favorites
Runaway is one of my favorite adventure games ever. I liked the story, the characters, the graphics and even the puzzles. Greatly recommended!

Not great
A very bland point & click adventure with bad writing, dull conversations and the only laughs it got from me were due to how bad it actually was at some points. I'd give it a miss and try out anything from either Lucas Arts or Telltale.
