Even if RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 hasn't aged as gracefully as its predecessors, there's plenty of fun to be had. If you still have the original and can run it fine, you don't need to buy it again. But if you're someone who never got to play it, can't run Planet Coaster, and miss the old school approach to the Tycoon genre, the Complete Edition is a neat relic to a bygone era of gaming. Just be prepared for some outdated features and a shockingly small UI.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is a timeless classic that is always worth being reminded about. Some things were done well to begin with and the Complete Edition brings us back to the thrilling excitement of management sims.

RollerCoaster is a great little title to add to your collection if you're either a nostalgia buff or fancy having a classic management sim on the go. Otherwise, you might be best sticking to something a little more current.

Great but wow, that price is not nice.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is a ball to play. Creative single player campaign, awesome sandbox mode and a butt load of extras. Ho daddy! I'm lucky I got this on sale though. This game is really pricy. It needs a reduction. But hey, if you wanted to make your own rollercoasters AND ride them, now's your chance.

great. but one problem

The game is as great and as fun as I remember but when I started it up today it was in a 3d mode. like the red and cyan kind of 3d. I don't know what this is or how to turn it off. I uninstalled it twice but it hasn't helped.

The whole point of roller coaster tycoon is to be able to build rides, unfortunately I am unable to build rides on with this version.

Hmmm.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about with the price. You guys do realize that the list price for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum is actually $30, right? Also, that the game sells on most EVERYWHERE for $20. Do some research before you guys start flaming reviews.
