Pretty much like The Sims, RCT 3 is a great update from RCT 1 and 2 (which are pretty much the same in looks). They added 3D, improved graphics, sounds, music, and pretty much everything.
Although, the game was a bit buggy when it came out, but luckily for us, the designers fixed it and increased its amount of features with expansions.
I hope the sequel to RCT 3 will have a better release than this one... but unlike Master of Orion 3, it was not a big load of crap, you can play and play again just like RCT 1 and 2.
Buy it, it's worth it!
On sale for $5, sold. This game is great and its art style means that it doesn't seem to have aged a bit. It's still as much fun today as it was all those years ago.
I haven't played RCT 1 or 2 or even Theme Park but this IS one of the best from this genre. The options are even now impressing and for lil' kids it's awesome. Of course it's an old so not big system requirements.
This game is one that I played as a young kid, one of the first games I ever played. Really got me interested in tycoon, simulator, and building games. Highly recommend it if you like any of those genres. Its one of those games that has endless possibilities. Yes, its worth $20. Just wish they would make a 4th version of this game, not some mobile crap... lol So if you haven't got this game, get it. You will be playing this a lot.
