RoboCop: Rogue City

Great game, if you're an old school Robocop fan. Isn't a true open world experience, but the mission maps I've seen so far are big enough with enough side quests to do it feels like an open world game.

I wish Robo moved faster. Otherwise I really enjoy the game so far. Nothing special, but it is entertaining and gory fun. Just takes forever to get anywhere, even running.

Robocop was the first GOG game I returned: my Rx 580, amazingly above the minimum reqs, couldn't make it playable on the lowest settings. Months later, after buying a new video gard, it's a delight to play. Simple fun.

in short: get it at a discount. long version: it´s an absolutely true to the bone roboCop game. The faces, the police station, even the gunplay feels "true". but as the movie, this also looks and feels dated. movement is slow, no ducking, jumping,.. just straight forward walking and shooting. completing every side mission is tedious legwork. the "scanning" and the dialogue mechanic feel lackluster... like a lot in this game does. reminds me somehow of shooters from the early 2000s.
