Repetitive Once You Get the Hang of It
You are the famous general Arthbane of Ars Rare (from before it was conquered) and you are attempting to reclaim the kingdom by recruiting followers and winning battles. During each battle, you mine resources to buy units, which act on the screen on their own to defeat your opponent. PROs: + Units are automated (no management/micromanagement) + No loss in dying + Levels can be played to grind for gold upgrade units or buy food CONs: - Repetitive - Most levels are easy - A couple of very difficult levels - Many unnecessary units - Food (which boosts units' stats) is unnecessary Because units act on their own you don't have to pay attention to them once they have been purchased. When you lose a level, you go back to the map, and you only lose gold if you bought a meal, which you can get back by beating side quests (which are infinite). In the beginning, I died a number of times because I didn't play well. However, once I got better, I beat most levels easily. However, a few levels (38 and 40) were the exception (and very difficult). Generally, once you know which units are the best, you don't need to buy anything else. I only used 3 (sometimes 4) types of units once I knew what they did.
