Description

Riddle Joker is a Japanese-style visual novel produced by Yuzusoft, a Japanese developer of romance VNs.
The game won numerous awards on the year of its release in Japan for its art, music, and characters.

Story:

For decades, superpowers and psychic abilities were thought to be mere science fiction, but the discovery of a certain particle called the "Astron" at the end of the 20th century proved to the world that these wondrous phenomena were real. Nowadays, these abilities have been dubbed "astral abilities," with those who can wield them being knows as "Astrals."

Arihara Satoru is but an ordinary person living in this futuristic world.

However, beneath that guise, he's actually a secret agent working for an organization that uses Astrals.

One day, he receives a new mission:

Pose as a student and infiltrate a famous academy for Astrals.

After successfully transferring into the academy together with his sister Arihara Nanami, he settles into his new life there, meeting new friends like his classmates Mitsukasa Ayase and Nijouin Hazuki, and his upperclassman Shikibe Mayu, among others.

Until an unfortunate accident leads to Mitsukasa Ayase finding out his true identity! And in that situation, he also learns that she has her own big secret...

CHARACTERS

Ayase Mitsukasa 
Ayase is one os Satoru's classmates. 
She's cheerful, responsible, and is loved and admired by everyone. 
After she was interviewed as the result of a certain newsworthy incident, she became somewhat of an internet sensation as a result of her looks.

<b>Nanami Arihara</b><br>
Nanmi is Satoru's little sister, however, they hold no blood relation.<br>
She's a sweet gril who excels at every aspect of housework.<br>
In terms of personality, she's rather placid and subdued. She tends to be shy and reserved when first meeting someone, but once she warms up to a person, she can be rather friendly.

<b>Mayu Shikibe</b><br>
Mayu is an upperclassman of Satoru. For a certain reason, she's purposefully stalling her graduation and repetaing years.<br>
Usually calm and composed, but there are times when her more childish, attention-seeking side sneaks through.

<b>Hazuki Nijouin</b><br>
Hazuki is another classmate of Satoru's and she's also happens to be a manager of the dorm he lives in. Her personality is best described as rigid. She's very duty-bound, and highly values rules and proper behaviour. That, combined with the fact that she's the dorm manager, means that she often has to scold students for things, but they don't hold that against her.

<b>Chisaki Mibu</b><br>
Chisaki is a first year student at Kikka Academy and a classmate of Nanami's.<br>
She's incredibly bright and outgoing, which is seen in the fact that she made quick friends with someone as shy and antisocial as Nanami.<br>
She has a bit of a complex regarding her small body, which prevents her from wearing more mature outfits, thinking she won't look good in them.
