And it's funny
It's like a one big achievement hunt, but a good one.

Nestalgia with a hint of comedy
I just finished the final ending this morning... and wow. This game is full of funny moments and great story telling. You feel like you're playing an old school adventure game, all the while learning and experiencing multiple "endings." Each ending progresses the world timeline, but the world rarely changes, but does occasionally change ever so slightly. Some of the funniest parts are how they explain the fact that nothing changed for the player. (Example "hero moved to a new town, which happened to look exactly the same as his old town.") Lots of items to find and use, each causing unique endings when brought to the right person, or used on the right person or creature. Many laughs along this wonderfully pixelated road of adventure. And, again, the ending is something else altogether. And, they just added a bunch of end-game content with a recent update! More to discover! I highly recommend this game.

More like an parody than a game
I probably don't get what the fuss is all about or why everyone is praising like the second coming of christ.. still, an ok game, or more like a parody of old 2d platform games from late 80'/90', but probably only if you like the particular genre of '' die a million times'' ( or more like a 100) . However, the developers have spicy up the whole formula with a lot of humor and pop culture reference (which is not, like, unique of this game, other indie games are full of it). So, if you are in for no gameplay and just roaming around dying a 100 times just to see the different endings , it's a dream coming true.. if not, still fun for about 2 hours, then most of the jokes become stale.

This is great fun!
I can't say I've really ever played anything like this. You essentially "collect" different endings which is addicting in and of itself, however unlocking skins / characters is also fun. The writing is very amusing. I've laughed out loud quite a bit. The platforming and other mechanics is simple and solid. The sound and music is exactly what a game like this needs. I'm very happy I picked this one up. Even at regular price it's a good deal. Also, the GOG version runs well on the steam deck via heroic games launcher. I have mine set to use the latest proton GE. I also noticed that i'm still popping achievements on GOG Galaxy, though you dont see them pop... when you got into Galaxy you can see unlocked achievements. I really wish GOG would put a little effort into official support for Bazzite / Linux :-).
