Description
Requiem: Avenging Angel is a 3D, first-person action game of biblical proportions set in a world under siege. A holy war rages on Earth between Heaven's Chosen Soldiers and Hell's Fallen Angels. You are Malachi, a Chosen Angel, sent to Earth to save Creation from the wrath of the Fallen. Blast your way through an immersive futuristic 3D world developing Angelic powers like possession, blood boil, locust swarms, and the ability to turn your enemies to pillars of salt. Without you, mankind doesn't have a prayer.
  • All the heart-pounding action of a top shooter, with a rich story line and realistic character interaction
  • Fight demons and hell's minions using rare angelic powers, including: Bloodboil, Lightning, Flight, Holy Light, and Turn to Salt

Janky everything

The gameplay, graphics, level design, game balancing, special powers, weapons... well about eveything in this game is janky. Lot of interesting elements, but in the end this game is missing the fun factor to survive the test of time. I don't really recommend this game, but it's interesting curiosity to get from sale.

Playing on Windows 7

Actually, you can play this game beyond XP you have to edit the registry and tell it you run direct 6, that's how I was able to play it on Windows 7.

Be Aware

I got it to run once briefly, then never again. No matter how I fiddle with the config or compatibility settings, it freezes on start up. Would be nice if it was better optimized and I could actually play it.

Great review Emrys85!

Not only is it Steam style meaningless trash, it's a complete lie as well. This game is EXCREMENT! The graphics are disgusting to look at, levels are confuddling mazes, there is no map, movement feels awful, combat feels awful, sounds and music are awful. Hang on - what music? Lol. Standard keys are HORRIBLE, even remapped to a more usual WSAD system you'll still struggle. The UI is one of the worst I've seen ever. 3DO had a hand in this? Must have been the same team behind Might and Magic IX! Requiem REALLY IS MoM9 BAD!
