Something feels wrong with the game.
While the overall presentation of this game is good it falls apart in the game play department. The game remembers your inputs, so don't spam the attack button three times if you don't want to attack three times in a row. Your attack chains lock you out of using your dodge to evade enemy attacks. Enemies tend to clump together which can make it very hard to see their attack windups. But worse of all this game has terrible hitboxes. You likely won't notice these problems during the first stage when everything is easy and you can just stun lock most enemies to death, but come second stage everything turns to shit with too many enemies to stun lock and the level gets very annoying unbreakable obstacles for you to get stuck on. That's where the enemies start clumping together and you can no longer read their attacks. The hitboxes of the first boss are just terrible, you'll be standing at a distance that can fill four of your characters between you and the boss animation but you'll still get hit. The rest of the hitboxes I've encountered where not as bad as the first boss but they are still not great. The way you control your character in this game feels like you should take things slow, measure your approach, mind the enemy movement; but then it also grades you on how fast you beat the encounters and your rewards depend upon how well you scored.
