Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc

Just like Rayman 2, avoid or be ready for a refund. Won't launch even after a multitude of suggested fixes were applied. Highly disappointing, huge waste of time.

Ugly graphics, awful camera control, repetitive gameplay, vulgar homour, annoying mini-games, and impossibility to reach max score — this game basically has everything to be perfect representation of what oldschool 3d platformers were. Although if you didn't try to complete this game as a kid, then you have absolutely no reasons to try it now. P.S. Its sad that GOG didn't add russian localization for this game — it was so much disguisting that it even was good.

A competent enough platformer, but for whatever reason they decided to replace the cool mystic atmosphere of Rayman 2 with zany cartoon voices and lame self-referential humor. As a game it falls only a bit short of the first two, but it completely lost me with the "Mascot 'Tude" that I thought died with Bubsy. It doesn't help that the PC version is... not great. A better port than Rayman 2 for certain, but it's certainly a cheaply produced console to PC port from back when publishers put even less effort into those than they do now.
