I played this game a ton on PS2 when I was a kid. Feels great to get behind ol' Rayman and realize I had no "gamer-sense" when I younger.

Nostalgia and awesome soundtrack
Honestly this game just makes me so happy. I get so much nostalgia from it but its just also a fun time, even as an adult. Also the soundtrack slaps

Doesn't work correctly
While Rayman 3 is a great game, GOG/Ubisoft have not made it work on modern PCs. It runs way to fast on high refresh rates, limiting framerate in Nvidia control panel doesn't work. Yes, I know there is a fan patch but I really don't like having to download fan patches especially when they do not provide source code.

Nostalgia hit
Rayman 3 is a pretty good game. The visual style is great, there are many fun levels, and yet... it fails to live up to its legendary predecessor. It's marred by a lack of charm, sometimes subpar level design, irritating voice acting, and angering camera controls. But it's a Rayman game the less, and if you're craving more of Rayman 2, it's the closest you'll get out of the lot. I never played this one back in the day, so I'm having a lot of nostalgic fun with it. But I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't played and adored The Great Escape.
