Rayman 2: The Great Escape

Could be an awesome, maybe one of the best games ever, if it was not for: - terrible controls, keyboard mapping that cannot be changed in the game options, and placed in very uncomfortable way; - treacherous camera that lives its own live and changes the angles whenever it like, making you fall to your death all the time. - .... and the most of all, freaking levels with the freaking running rockets, each running with different speed so you cannot pick the correct timing, blowing up even if you landed successfully after your jump... On another rockets level, after like millions of attempts to beat it just dropped the game.

Rayman 2 is an adventure game which is really under rated. The game presents itself as this bizarre game with an aesthetically pleasing world that has excellent gameplay. Its a bomb recipe for a forgotten classic. I first attempted to play Rayman 2 on my modded Dreamcast and could not find a good rom any where. I picked this puppy up and got it working, gotta say for me its the best way to play Rayman 2 nowadays. Yeah, you need to download some unofficial patches and the 3Dfx Voodoo Glide wrapper which you can use google fu to figure out. Its mostly only extracting .zips into the installer folder and running a .exe. Regardless, I gotta give it 3 thumbs up!

This game is awesome, i remember my siblings playing it and it gaves me nostalgia
