Manage a tailor shop and corpse-cooking business in a city where crime, corruption and poverty are commonplace. Percival and Hildred have just moved here with nothing but a dream: to get extremely rich.
Take control of Percival to manage the tailor shop, wait for the arrival of clients looking for new suits and dresses, kill them when the moment is right, and throw them down the trap door, leading to the kitchen. Not before stealing their outfits however, their materials ready to be made into brand new clothes: waste not, want not!
Take care of Hildred's pub and customers. Feed them delightful corpse-based meals, manage resources effectively and make sure not to run out of ingredients.
Increase the reputation of their businesses by buying new tools, learning new recipes and upgrading the shops, but beware... someone knows their secret.

An average time and resource management game with disturbing context. From a development POV, the game runs great. No bugs experienced, smooth transitions, fitting music and great visuals. Game play does get pretty stale though. The game is very repetitive. Each new day is more of the same.
I cannot personally give higher than 3 stars due to limited in-game interactions, repetitive game play and length of the game. If this genre is your bag, wait for a steep sale.
As a side note, Ravenous Devils runs perfect in Linux using Wine. Always nice when native Linux installers are not included!
I've put about 7 hours in across two save files and really enjoyed my time with it. I loved the gameplay loop and the upgrades added more difficulty without making it too hard or unbalanced.
I do wish some of the upgrades were a bit clearer in telling you what they do but, I and loving it regardless and for the price I want to recommend it to all my friends. If it looks fun and your not expecting the moon for a game under 10, I HIGHLY recommend picking it up!
Really hope this gets a more fleshed out sequel!
This game is about optimizing and coordinating the tasks of a husband and wife team as they murder their clients to sell their meat and their clothes. As the game progresses, you unlock new tasks which increase your production and add complexity.
The game is fairly short, about three hours, but this is not bad for the price and prevents it from overstaying its welcome. There is also an endless mode after you beat it, so you can finish any unlocks you missed or play more with your final setup.
I don't know if I would have wanted to play more than the three hours it took me, but as it is, I recommend it.
Had some decent fun with this one. Good presentation and atmosphere, although the VA for the male character sounds out of place. Unfortunately, it overstays its welcome by an hour or so and the late game lacks creative input from the player, and could easily be played optimally by an AI.
I liked the idea of the game, it's delightfully twisted and I like a dark theme. As I also like TM games, it sounded like a great combination. The artwork is beautiful, very nicely done, with many details. However, I didn't really enjoy this game very much. First, it runs painfully slow, I have to put in on the lowest setting to make it playable and that makes white interferences appear on the screen so this is not really pleasant. This is probably due to my Nvidia Geforce graphic card being one for laptops and being a bit older, though I have no problems with other games. Anyway, the actual issue is the cumbersome controls of the game. Actions can't be lined up (unless one of the character is already beginning with one action - then the very next one can be set) and one constantly has to scroll up and down between floors. So you sit there, give them something to do and have to wait for them to start doing it before you can give them the next action. It takes smoothness, speed and fun out of the gameplay. The dark theme - yes, it's there, but I found it too crudely implemented. There is no finesse, no sarcasm, it's just blunt, with some graphics / actions that even I as a lover of morbid themes found disgusting.
Actions are very limited. I played about two hours and nothing much changes. It was highly repetitive and while I wouldn't mind this terribly if gameplay was smooth, it was just tedious this way. The combination of stuttering gameplay, cumbersome controls, scrolling and repetitive actions just took most of the fun away. I paused for some weeks and when I wanted to give it another try I stopped in the middle of a level because it was just too annoying to play. It's a pity because it could have been an entertaining game.
