    Detective Michael Stone arrives in the small town of Pineview to assist the local police force with a seemingly simple case - A couple is found dead in their kitchen. The locals believe it to be a case of murder-suicide, their speculation fueled by rumors of the turbulent nature of the couple's relationship.

    Is it just small-town gossip, or is there some truth to the rumors?

    Help Detective Stone, assisted by the driven and empathetic Amy Blunt, discover the truth behind Chris and Diane's story. But be warned: the further he pursues the case, the more his own past shall come back to haunt him. And the closer his sanity will be pushed to the edge.

    Rainswept is an adventure game - A murder mystery dealing with themes of love, relationships and unresolved trauma. It's being developed by Frostwood Interactive, a studio found by Armaan Sandhu. The soundtrack is being composed by Micamic, the composer behind Harvester Games' excellent 2012 indie title "The Cat Lady"

    A game noir

    The game has good storytelling. It could have had more of an adventure, however. There was not much more to do other than to talk to people in various places (with lots of walking involved). The look is interesting. However, I would not mind if the legs would have the same proportions as the body. This and the sometimes silly looking animations made the game look silly at times, hurt the atmosphere a bit. A different approach to these things might have been better, but maybe that's just my taste. There are a few minor bugs when it comes to savegames (characters appearing / disappearing), none of them breaks gameplay however. I finished the game in a couple of hours, since there really is hardly anything to find out. Just follow the notes, talk to the right people and you are on your way.

    Great Experience

    I love games like this but they are not for everyone. It is kind of like playing through a book. I found the characters very enjoyable and some of the little moments that play out in the story are very well done. Some of the characters really stood out to me and were surprisingly relatable in ways that reminded me of Night in the Woods. I ran into a bug during gameplay (it was not game breaking) and contacted the developer. The issue has since been fixed. I only bring this up because the developer's response time and time it took to fix the issue were amazing. Great customer service. The story was very interesting and has a satisfying ending. The game deals with topics some people might find difficult but the game has a warning at the beginning of it. It is somewhat short but totally worth it. I would reccomend this game.

    A delicate piece of art.

    One may dislike it for not being a "game": there is no challenge, no puzzles, no action. There are no rules to follow (or to break) - only the story to unveil, only narrative to create an empty space - and fill it with something _else_, something you wouldn't expect to accept and to live with. But you will. This is not a game. This is art. Rainswept has a story to tell, it's got all the right words and associations to delude and intrigue you as you are passing by those goddamn landscapes and hurting yourself with unwanted memories. But you should. You should get through this.

    Interactive storybook

    What a beautiful game! I was worried it being hollywood-esque corny, but it wasn't! A great story, with really wonderful characters and a satisfying ending! Wish there would be more good story-based games like this one.

    Great!

    I love this game! Although I'm not completely sure if it should be called a game. For me it was more like an interactive book. It has almost no gameplay and beautiful yet simple graphics. The strongest side of this title is amazing climate and deep emotional story. I highly recommend it!
