Rage of Mages II: Necromancer

This game is an absolute gem. Nostalgia and enthusiasm levels > 100. I recommend this game for those that know what Diablo 1 and 2 are and want a new and more awesome alternative. Currently, the only hat server which hosts the online sessions is maintained by a group of very devoted fans who created new interesting maps, items, fixed some original bugs, made the game avialable on modern systems and added plenty of enhancements. I recommend this game

Clunky, yet strangely compelling. One of those games which doesn't just encourage but kinda forces you to cheese through. Your characters are fragile and enemy wizards or high level monsters will destroy them without a fair degree of kiting or aggro management. Particularly early game ogres and trolls.

No Widescreen support and terrible mouse scrolling

it's just bad and boring. It is neither a good rpg nor a good rts game. If you remember Warcraft 3's hero-only maps, this game is that but without a soul. You have a lot of heroes, so after a while you need to micromanage a lot. Exploration is not rewarding. Execpt the quest stuff, the maps are empty. I bought this because I owned it in the past and I wanted to remember the game. I should leave it in the past...
