Psychonauts

Double Fine Productions's first game. Psychonauts is a cult classic. The gameplay is a top notch platformer, the narrative is both funny and engrossing. While the game is a collectathon their is not that much stuff to get plus it benefits you more. The only problem I have with this game is the figments. Some level the figments are not a problem but in most levels they are place way out the way and take hours just to find the last remaining one in a level. It is not helped that figments are near transparent and in bright colorful levels they are blend in the background. I fully recommend this game to everyone.

Psychonauts is a wonderful and imaginative game. At no point does the game run out of ideas. It doesn't require an expensive pc to run, and the controls work very well for a 3D platformer with a keyboard and mouse. Well worth your time!

It makes me sad we don't have more unique and entertaining games like this. I played it for the first time ever recently and I think it's fantastic. The writing and voice acting is actually funny and clever. The chatacters are great and the use of enviornment and gameplay to tell the narrative is inspired. The platforming is fun and the graphical style still holds up. Sure, the mechanics are sometimes a bit frustrating and the collectithon aspects can be tedious (I just use the free save editor and give myself all the arrowheads and psycores I want). But the charm and fun outweigh any downsides

this is a platformer that really got me into the genre the game is brilliant if you havnt bought it yet you are a low iq person, buy this even if you hate platformers trust me! only critique is the item selection screen and use button never feel wuite right but thats just a bit of dust on a solid gold bar.

Worth buying even at $10. It is very fun and is uniquely delivered. I would say artistically alone this game is worth it, but has more to offer than that. Good controls. Great characters. Superb voice acting. It is a fun game! This is one of those underrated games that will make you wonder why this game didn't sell better back when it came out. You will not go wrong getting this game! Get it! Play it! You'll enjoy it!
