To install the game you have to accept a 3rd party EULA that says they can use your data for virtually any purpose, including marketing. No, thank you. You can play your "precious" game yourselves. :-/

Wow, just wow. What kind of practice is this?? Bought the game 4 years ago and re-installed it today. No thanks, I'll pass.

Found out about the Paradox launcher when updating the game, said no thank you and still able to play after uninstalling the launcher. Other than that its a very fun game that is full of surprises.

It was good. But now the sole reason of its existence is to milk the players of this game via countless dlcs which where features of the core game inb4 and unwanted spy software. DO NOT BUY UNTIL THIS GETS FIXED!

I came to voice my displeasure, only to find I'm merely adding my voice to many - well, Paradox, you want it, you got it. Never really played this, despite owning it for years, keep reinstalling it with intent to play but never seem to... until today. I load it up, and it opens a f***ing launcher? A Paradox launcher no less, one of the most anti consumer friendly developers known to gaming. And here I thought their fiasco with Prison Architect 2 would be a self contained thing, but I guess there idiocy knows no limits. Paradox are slime, everyone knows that, but GOG are responsible for their own platform, so this is squarely at your feet GOG. You are 100% at fault as far as I am concerned. I uninstalled the moment I saw the launcher.
