Having revisited the series after a 5 year hiatus (the first time I played them, I thought they were awesome), I can conclude this game is crap.
Bad story that's trying too much to be like the first. Makes no sense whatsoever. No character development. Well, BAD character development.
95% percent of all my deaths and reloads come from glitchy, stupid bugs (tower of babel grill...you made me uninstall the game). Horrible combat.
Out of all three PoP games, only Sands of Time is worth anyone's time. If you've never played these games, play Sands of Time and you will love it. But for the love of Zeus, do not play the crap sequels.
The long way back home which turns into an unforgettable journey through ever-changing strata of Great Babylon! The long-awaited ending of the best game trilogy ever created, and a touching story of overcoming destiny, taming your greatest force and fighting for the love you could never forget. I will never get tired of replaying this ingeniously crafted masterpiece!
Why are this games on this site?? i wonder again and again when new release is comming.....this is not a good game, not an old game, not enjoyable, not interesting, not atmospheric, not worth your time and money.... where are the true jewels of old gaming????
The 3rd game of the new Prince of Persia series brings us even more variaty in combat, but at the expense of the story.
The game takes place where Warrior Within left and continues the plot from there.
Combatwise, your moves list improve, along with your options for using the enviorment to your advantage.
Graphics and audio are exactly what you'd expect from a game of this series.
The story and dialog however feels just like a rushed fanfic. It just feels very generic, almost as if someone made a pure combat game, and in the last moment decided to add a story to it.
As a standalone game - pretty good...as a Prince of Persia game - not very good.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
