Frustrating and not worth it.

I don't quite understand why it's such a popular game. Postal 2 I get, but this? Comparing to Postal 2, this is really tame and boring. It's buggy and the graphics are pretty ugly. The character models look out of place with the handdrawn backgrounds. The main menu is weird and looks as if someone threw it together in paint within a minute. One major bug I remember is that you can't turn left/right. You have to tap left/right in order to turn, which is not even worth bothering with. I've never enjoyed this game because of just how frustrating it is. There is not a single redeeming factor I can think of. If all the bugs are fixed, I still think the game is barely worth it. You have to be a hardcore fan. Unless you REALLY think you might enjoy it, despite its many flaws, skip this.

Running with Scissors, sell this game.

I played Postal as a kid. It was a cool game back then. Even more so now! Which shows that people remain violent and craving for blood their whole lives. Postal is a harmful game that should be played by children. Of course, I believe that someone who plays it will shoot people in the neighborhood. What I find fantastic is its lack of empathy. And to top it all off, the fact that its creators come from a country where 762 people died in 2022 only adds to its replay value. GOG, tell Running with Scissors to let me pay for this game.

One of the darkest games I've played

Whoever says this game doesn't have a plot hasn't read the manual. The Postal Dude is an average joe whose mental state is deteriorating and believes there is a plague driving people insane, causing him to take up arms in his paranoia. Noisy, dark ambient pieces play during loading screens with some disturbing art accompanied by the Dude's thoughts at the time. Truly chilling stuff.

Outdated, RWS shows no interest in GOG

Unplayable

This game is simply unplayable due to some problem with the left key. Even with the GOG "fix" the left key remains awkward and makes the game a chore to control to the point you simply can't play. It seemed like a mindless entertaining action game and I wish I could actually have had a chance to play it but as it stands it should not even be sold as this game is clearly unfinished to the point of not being playable. I wish GOG was more careful than that and I do hope no other game from the catalogue suffers from the same kind of problem. I can forgive once when I pay but never twice.
