POSTAL: Brain Damaged is a new, action-oriented take on the Running With Scissors’ cult game series with throwback graphics, and fast-paced, modern gameplay. Take a wild roller coaster ride through the twisted wonderland encased in the POSTAL DUDE’S messed-up mind.

Get ready to experience POSTAL from a brand-new perspective! This boomer-shooter spin-off of the fan-beloved Running With Scissors’ franchise will take you further down the rabbit hole than any previous game of the series. You’re not in Paradise anymore, and things are about to get weird, as POSTAL: Brain Damaged happens within the twisted psyche of the POSTAL DUDE, himself!

Wild setting? Even wilder gameplay! While staying true to POSTAL’S trademark tone and humor the game plays very different to all the previous titles in the series. What you get is fast, challenging, and full of varied, meticulously designed enemies and environments. If you’re surfing the tidal wave of throwback shooters or enjoyed the latest installment of that game where you single-handily take on the forces of Hell invading Earth, you will feel right at home (even more so if your home smells really bad).

Make sure your body is ready to:
  • Explore an all-new, hand-crafted world full of surprises
  • Experience the challenging, fast-paced gameplay with quake-like movement and outrageous level design
  • Take a trip through the rich, twisted, ever-changing environments of POSTAL DUDE’S deranged mind
  • Shoot a variety of insane guns at some of the freakiest enemies to ever grace computer screens
  • Follow the all-original story line making the POSTAL-VERSE continuity even more effed-up than it was
  • Hear Corey Cruise returning as the POSTAL DUDE, with guest appearances from other fan-beloved voices
  • Enjoy the POSTAL series trademark dark, crude humor and glorification of fantasy violence

It’s a mad game for the mad times, kids! From the studio that brought you ELDERBORN and Blood West, comes the first-person shooter you didn't know you need in your life - POSTAL: Brain Damaged.

Wishlist now, or else!

This game is a boomer shooter, so it will involve a lot of shooting of enemies, they will gib. This game is also a part of the POSTAL franchise, so expect a lot of crude humor and profanity. Also low-res cartoon people in lingerie or bathing suits.

Postal x Doom Eternal

Imagine if the Doom Guy had a twisted sense of humor and pissed on his demons.

You like shooters? Then GET THIS GAME!

I just finally played Postal: Brain Damaged for a couple of hours and wow... what an awesome game! I'll summarize my experience in bullet points: + Great visuals (graphic style is low-poly, but very consistent) + You can save at any time. + Key assignment can be changed at will (important for me). + Great movement, very fluid and fast. + Cool weapons with nice alternative fire modes. There is the right ratchet for every purpose! + Nice level design, but a map would be nice sometimes. + Nice music (soundtrack is also available) + Lots of humor and references, just like the other postal games! However, there are a few small disadvantages: - The German translation is... creative - Enemies who have just been killed continue talking (one last sentence). This can be a bit irritating. All in all, I can say that this is one of the best boomer shooters I've ever played. Maybe even the best, because almost everything is right here. I also want to reiterate the creative map design and manual save feature. Especially the latter I sorely missed in games like Doom 2016! Buy this game, no matter the price, at least if you like humorous first-person shooters! I'm so glad this game came out on GoG!

I like it

Really great game that does two of the most important things right for an FPS: speed and level design. The game takes reference to many older games, mainly through the level design, but also through comments from the player character, but without overding the jokes too much in my opinion. What I like is that it's build with speedrunning in mind, which I think is a cool idea and it really shows in the flow of the gameplay. Don't expect a classical Postal part though, this is more like Viscerafest but on crack. In my opinion this game is a great basis to expand upon, because the movements are smooth and the guns all feel good and distinguished from each other. The only thing I would say is missing is a map editor, maybe some way to add (weapon) mods. Overall highly recommendable if you like fast games that require a good reaction.

Excellent game, despite slow start

This is one of the most fun games I've played in a while. I found myself routinely staying up until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning playing it. I like the humor and the mid-to-late-game gameplay. The level design was also very good, I didn't get lost as often as I usually do when I play these kinds of games. That said it doesn't really find its stride until a few levels in; The first three levels or so have issues with balance and pacing (such as the lack of ammo and pickups that others have mentioned) but once you get to around level four it's great. I very nearly gave the game a lower rating while I was still on these earlier levels but I'm glad I didn't because the late game is excellent. Just keep at it. Also, in regard to what other reviewers have said about the lack of health and ammo, there are a bunch of powerups that you can eventually pick up and use when needed that allow you to refill your health, armor, or ammo, and I personally had a bunch of extras of all of these left over at the end of each episode of the game. The game actually in general gives you a lot of extra stuff that's cool but isn't strictly needed. Part of the difficulty as a beginner is realizing that these things are very niche and that you shouldn't rely on for example the projectile reflection ability or the time freezing time bombs or the urine powerups. Although they are cool

Best game of 2022 no one played

No one else than few franchise fans which is damn shame because this combination of corridor and arena shooter rocks! It's like Quake x Serious Sam x Doom Eternal but all soaked in Postal's wacky toilet humor with a pinch of Psychonauts or AMcG Alice here and there. At first I was skeptical about this whole surreal theme but at the end I'd say it couldn't be done any better as it allowed designers to unleash their imagination and creativity to the fullest. And they certainly didn't waste this chance. Level design is one of the coolest I've seen in FPS game (or even any game) in a while. Maps are stylistically diverse (from American suburbs and Mexican deserts, through Burtonesque asylum and forest to spacecrafts) which keeps the fresh feeling throughout the campaign, big and cleverly crafted with lots of hidden things if you will to explore. People often complain the game is short which I don't understand unless they just run ahead without stopping. For me it took good 40-60 minutes per level, looking everywhere and admiring views and I still missed many secrets. Overall production value is impressive to say the least considering how relatively modest project it is. Storywise it feels very much like post-P1 Postal game where at first you just want to watch some TV, then find toilet paper and lastly get an autograph but all as it was dreamed by Dude's sick mind. Number of easter eggs and references to real life, pop culture and internet culture is simply insane. From technical standpoint it's most polished Postal to date. Forget the usual jank and clunkiness, here Quake-like movement is smooth and shooting feels great. Arsenal is not terribly big or original but all weapons are useful and have alternative function as well as there is good amount of usable power-ups. Oh, and forgot to mention, enemies are some jRPG level of demented crap. If you enjoy fast paced shooters just get this game and you will regret nothing.
