About This Game
Ten years after his Apocalypse Weekend escapades, The Postal Dude finally returns!
Paradise Lost is a full-fledged expansion pack for POSTAL 2 continuing the saga of the POSTAL series. Join the Dude as he ventures back into his former hometown embarking on a quest to find his lost dog. Not all is at it seems, as the once tranquil (relatively speaking) town and its citizens have been transformed in the wake of the nuclear destruction. Dare to enter the varied Zones as you cross the Arid Desert, trek through the dense Rainy Foliage, freeze your nuts off in the Nuclear Winter, and roam under the Ashen Skies. Meet the many mysterious factions comprised of the towering, the miniature, the zombified, and everything in between and use your radiant people skills to attempt to ally yourself with their enigmatic leaders, ranging from former child stars to terrifying demonic udder-wielding beasts! Fierce Lawmen, crazed Bandits, deranged Doomsday Survivalists, and a phallic child's toy mascot await. Do whatever it takes to survive! Wait in lines! Use vending machines! Buy toilet paper! Journey to where it all began to rescue your loyal companion!
Prepare to delve into the post-apocalyptic world of Paradise Lost!

Postal 2 is a very good game if you like that type oh humor and over the top volence. Paradise Lost is more of the same but with boring quests. That would mean that Postal 2 is a one trick pony....maybe but this DLC feels like a lesser version. They added some new weapons and locations but the whole thing feels boring and the humor feel forced with very long conversations that really feel stupid and not in a good way It is on sale for 1 buck so you can try it out but it is not that good.
In short: ONLY FOR HARDCORE FANS. It does not try to add in anything new and instead mixes together elements from past Postal 1 and 2 games, turning it into a mess. It has five days, though clearly the production values are much lower than with the original base game. Basically, outside boss fights and cinematics, there is very little new content such as witty pedestrian comments. The game tries to retrace the places from the original P2, though it feels horribly stale and deja vu. Also the game engine is much more crash-prone here than in the OG, especially on the last, fifth day, especially when loading a game outside the main menu.
A lot of content is recycled from P2. There is nothing new here. Same places, usually with a slight twist. E.g. Uncle Dave now has greenhouses for the herb-pruning task.
Overall, this feels like a half-hearted expansion that rides to re-milk the original game's content. (The biggest original section in it is a cow-milking sub-game. If you already expected Mad Cow Disease references, THAT is how lame the "NEW" content and humor is. NOT. FUNNY. IN THE SLIGHTEST.) Especially the days in the middle are mostly filler and Dude even mentions it during a cinematic scene.
crashes right after loading screen EVERY SINGLE TIME. have tried several things but nothing seems to work. i'am glad i only paid less than a dollar for this broken mess.
